Formation of Sentences
I am in the mid of a class and I cant stop laughing at what the instructor said...
He wanted to convey "He ll begin teaching the concepts from the scratch."
He said "From the scratch, I am starting"
I heard it as "From the start, I am scratching" ;)
Funny, the language called English and the way some of us use it.... Funnier, what the mighty mind can do to sentences ;)

That's funny.
It reminded me of one of such incidents which happened in my class in school. The teacher used to blabber all the time about being serious, "Be Serious".
And one day he acutally said,
"Se Berious".
Hearing that, nobody was serious.
